ABOUT US

Hands full of love!
The program Manos de Esperanza (Hands of Hope in english) began in January of 2010, as a group of youth people that were looking forward to serve their community in natural disasters, orphans houses, feeding kids from the streets, and other activities in Quetzaltenango.
In 2014, one of the volunteers decided to serve and show the love of Jesus through a community Clinic in La Esperanza, Quetzaltenango, this clinic is focused on people with low income of surrounding villages of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. The attention to each patient cost around $5 to them and in some cases is free, this is a very low price for them. Dr. Maria Ajsivinac is the current medical director of the program, she and other doctors donate their time to help us bring wellness and health to the people who attend the clinic. Besides every patient that is coming to the clinic has the chance to receive the good news of the gospel and also to put their needs in prayer.
Sometimes we have medical outreaches too, so the people can hear about the clinic, and they can come and receive follow up, which is the difference from some other organizations, the people that come for a medical outreach has the chance to be following by an specialist.
Our dream is to keep growing and growing until we have a low cost Hospital for the patients, attended by specialist, so the patients can be heal in 3 areas: physically, spiritually and emotionally.
The clinic runs by donations from people. You can contribute by praying for us and economical donations or though resources donations.
